Job summary

Pasona N A, Inc. seeks an experienced DWH Business Analyst to support a large-scale Capital Markets transformation project for a leading commercial bank in New York.

The role focuses on data analysis, impact assessment, data mapping, and integration design between market systems and downstream platforms. You will collaborate with business and technology teams in Japan and the U.S., gather requirements, and coordinate testing and implementation activities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Financial Services technology projects.
• Strong BA experience in DWH, data platform, or data integration.
• Experience gathering/documenting business, system, and data requirements.
• Excellent data flows understanding and documentation skills.
• Business-level Japanese and English highly desired.

DWH Business Analyst - Capital Markets / Market Systems

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced DWH Business Analyst to support a large-scale Capital Markets transformation project at a leading commercial bank.

The role will focus on data analysis, impact assessment, data mapping, and integration design between market systems and downstream platforms. You will work closely with business and technology teams in both Japan and the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data flows between market systems, DWH, and downstream applications
• Perform impact assessments and data mapping
• Gather and document business, system, and data requirements
• Support data integration and interface design
• Coordinate with business, technology, and data stakeholders
• Support testing and implementation activities

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Financial Services technology projects
• Strong Business Analyst experience in DWH, Data Platform, or Data Integration
• Experience with business and system requirements
• Strong understanding of data flows and integration
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Business-level Japanese and English are higly desired
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Capital Markets, Treasury, Rates, or FX
• Experience with data mapping, data lineage, and impact assessment
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills
• Experience with Databricks, Kafka, Azure Event Hub, or similar technologies
• Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting
• Experience working on cross-border projects involving Japan and the U.S.
