Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of document control/data management or related experience.

  • Experience managing sensitive documents and media.
  • Maintaining spreadsheets and/or databases.
  • Controlling hardcopy documents, media, and other peripherals (badges, tokens).
  • Knowledge of access control and accountability protocols for sensitive information.
  • Experience managing documents in safes.
  • Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage large numbers of internal and external documents.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently.
  • Core hours 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, Mon-Fri with flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct transfers of data between program networks.
  • Identify, control, account for, and verify program information and devices.
  • Identify and track data items to be controlled for the program and coordinate transfers.
  • Assist with assessing Data Management needs and develop processes for DM/DT tasks.
  • Develop/maintain plans and documentation for satisfying DM/DT requirements and manage configuration information.
  • Update, organize, and maintain deliverable data products required by contracts and subcontracts.
  • Establish and maintain program libraries for access to sensitive information.
  • Ensure latest revisions are uploaded to the system in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain program document lists and document trees.
  • Review data management plans to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate program document releases.
  • Prepare data for program reviews and provide templates for documents and presentations.
  • Prepare data management reports and metrics for program Leads.
  • Participate in continuous process improvements for Data Management/Data Transfer.

Leidos is seeking a Data Transfer Specialist to support a high-impact, multi-agency program serving the United States Space Force (USSF)/Space Systems Command (SSC), the United States Air Force (USAF), and other key mission stakeholders. The selected candidate will play an important role on a critical program focused on enhancing, testing, and deploying a large-scale Satellite Communications (SATCOM) system within an existing infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in public key infrastructure (PKI) and Agile development, along with exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

You will manage and maintain system documentation and conduct transfers of data between various classified and unclassified networks. The selected candidate will assist customers with reconciling data submission discrepancies and will continuously monitor and review data transfer requests and recommend additions/deletions/changes. She/he will be responsible for preparing data in accordance with the appropriate DIDs and will deliver data to the customer, ensuring adherence with the timelines specified in program CDRLs.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities
  • Conduct transfers of data between program networks.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Must have at least 5 years of document control/data management or related experience.
  • Experience coordinating document/media/equipment authorizations and releases.
  • Experience managing sensitive documents and media.
  • Documented experience maintaining spreadsheets and/or databases.
  • Documented experience controlling hardcopy documents, media, and other peripherals or devices (badges, tokens, etc.).
  • Knowledge of and experience with access control and accountability protocols regarding sensitive information.
  • Experience managing documents in safes.
  • Strong organizational skills and a critical eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently manage and control large numbers of internal and external documents.
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
  • Core hours are 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The assigned schedule will typically align to either an early shift, with a start time around 7:00 am, or a later shift, with the workday generally ending by 6:00 pm.

Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing security/classification data and documents.
  • Experience working in or around a SAFe Agile development environment.
Pay Range

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
