Job summary

PNC seeks a Quality Engineer Lead - Data Testing (Python) based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH, to spearhead test strategy for data-intensive pipelines and APIs within risk and regulatory domains. You will combine manual and automated testing in Python to verify data accuracy and integrity, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous QA improvements across projects.

Qualifications

University degree and 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
Certifications are often desired.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Leads development and review of test strategies and plans aligned with project goals, guidance to junior team members on testing needs.
Identifies and addresses resource and environment gaps, escalates unresolved issues to Quality Engineer leadership.
Monitors and manages testing risks and defects, ensuring ECO-standard compliance and accurate reporting.
Prepares and delivers test summary reports for Technology leaders, Governance/Risk teams, and stakeholders.
Collaborates across teams and participates in Quality Engineer CoP meetings to support continuous improvement.
