Job summary

You will partner with developers, analysts, and business users to shape test scenarios, validate complex data flows, and manage defects through end-to-end cycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of testing or QA experience with data validation
• Experience with Ruby automation or automated testing frameworks
• Experience with Informatica in ETL/data integration environments
• Strong data validation and analysis of upstream/downstream data issues
• Ability to write SQL queries for testing/troubleshooting/validation
• Exposure to Python and interest in expanding dev skills
• Experience managing defects and triage through resolution
• Ability to collaborate with developers to define test scenarios

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning, execution, and data validation for NF Actuarial Datamart
• Assist developers to refine testing scenarios for new development and defect fixes
• Perform detailed data validation across source, transform, and target layers
• Write and run SQL queries to investigate data conditions and support root cause analysis
• Analyze data issues and partner with development teams for resolution
• Manage defects through lifecycle including documentation and retesting
• Handle walk-up testing requests and provide timely support
• Support and enhance test automation, including Ruby-based scripts
• Work with Informatica processes and data movement workflows
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and automation
