Job summary

City of New York’s NYC Health Department Finance Division seeks a capable Administrative Staff Analyst or Computer Systems Manager to lead data systems for procurement operations, reporting, and decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have strong data management, systems coordination, and public-sector procurement knowledge, enabling effective support of programs and equity objectives in a complex city environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years writing SQL queries or data extraction experience.
• 2+ years developing or testing software or systems.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and project management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee collection, organization, and analysis of procurement data to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure data systems align with city procurement policies and regulations.
• Prepare reports and create data visualizations using appropriate tools.
• Provide user support for internal procurement systems and assist with training.
