Job summary

NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene seeks a capable Administrative Staff Analyst to oversee data systems for procurement, reporting, and decision support. The role requires coordinating between ACCO systems and IT to ensure efficient, compliant operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong data management background, experience with city procurement processes and excellent communication. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities to engage across bureaus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in economics, finance, accounting or public administration plus two years of related professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus four years of related experience, including at least 18 months in executive/managerial capacity.
• Experience with city or public sector procurement systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement data collection, organization, and analysis to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure data systems align with city procurement policies, regulations and best practices.
• Develop reports and visualizations to support decision-making across the agency.
• Troubleshoot and support the ACCO Purchasing and ConTrak systems; provide user training and long-term solutions.
• Coordinate with ACCO and IT teams to maintain and improve procurement platforms and content.
