Company Description
About KIPP Tulsa

KIPP Tulsa is part of a national network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory charter schools with a track record of preparing students in educationally underserved communities for success in college and life.

Together with families and communities, KIPP Tulsa Public Charter Schools works to create joyful, academically excellent schools that prepare students with the skills and confidence they need to pursue the paths they choose - college, career, and beyond - so they can lead fulfilling lives and build a more just world. We are a 6th through 12th-grade school located in north Tulsa. We are part of a national network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory charter schools with a track record of preparing students in educationally underserved communities for success in life. KIPP Tulsa opened its first school, KIPP Tulsa College Prep, in 2005 with approximately 90 fifth-grade students. Today, KIPP Tulsa has grown to serve 6th through 12th-grade students and currently educates approximately 600 students.

We Are a Team & Family

At KIPP Tulsa, every team member plays an important role in creating schools where students are known, supported, challenged, and prepared to pursue the paths they choose—college, career, and beyond. Behind every strong school is reliable information that helps educators understand what students need, leaders make informed decisions, and teams take action.

As the Data Systems & Analytics Manager, you will help ensure KIPP Tulsa has accurate, accessible, and actionable data to support our students and schools. You will serve as a trusted partner across the organization, managing critical data systems, strengthening data quality, developing reports and dashboards, supporting compliance and reporting requirements, and helping staff confidently use data to make decisions.

Your work will connect people, systems, and information so that our schools can spend less time searching for answers and more time acting on what our students need.

Why You’ll Love Working as a Data Systems & Analytics Manager at KIPP Tulsa
You’ll Make Data Work for People

Data is only valuable when people can understand it and use it.

As the Data Systems & Analytics Manager, you will help transform information from KIPP Tulsa's student information systems, assessments, attendance systems, gradebooks, and other platforms into useful reports, dashboards, and insights.

You will work with school and organizational leaders to understand the questions they are trying to answer and help ensure they have timely, accurate information to make informed decisions.

Whether a principal is monitoring student attendance, an instructional leader is reviewing academic performance, or an organizational leader is preparing information for the Board, you will help turn data into information people can use.

You’ll Be a Trusted Owner of Our Data Systems

Our schools rely on multiple technology platforms every day, and those systems need someone who understands how they work together.

You will serve as a primary administrator and point of contact for KIPP Tulsa's student information and data systems. You will help manage system access, troubleshoot issues, maintain accurate information, communicate system changes, support staff, and coordinate with vendors when additional technical assistance is needed.

From enrollment and course schedules to attendance, grades, assessments, and reporting, your work will help ensure the systems our schools depend on are reliable and accurate.

You’ll Protect the Integrity of Our Data

Accurate data is essential to strong decision-making and effective school operations.

You will help establish processes that ensure KIPP Tulsa's student and organizational data is complete, consistent, timely, and accurate. You'll conduct data-quality checks, investigate discrepancies, document procedures, and partner with staff to resolve issues at their source.

You will also help ensure that sensitive student and organizational information is handled responsibly by maintaining appropriate system access and supporting strong data privacy and security practices.

Your attention to detail will help build trust in the information our teachers, school leaders, families, Board members, funders, authorizers, and partners rely upon.

You’ll Turn Information Into Insight

You won’t simply produce reports—you'll help people understand what the information means.

You will develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that make important information easier to access and understand. You will regularly review key student and organizational metrics, identify meaningful patterns and trends, and help leaders determine where additional attention may be needed.

Most importantly, you will communicate data in ways that meet people where they are. Whether you're supporting a teacher, principal, operations team member, executive leader, or Board member, you'll tailor information so that it is clear, relevant, and actionable.

You’ll Help Our Team Meet Critical Reporting Responsibilities

Schools are responsible for providing accurate and timely information to many different stakeholders.

You will coordinate recurring data requests and reporting requirements for internal teams, authorizers, grant partners, the KIPP Foundation, and other approved stakeholders. You'll help establish calendars, processes, documentation, and quality checks that allow KIPP Tulsa to meet these responsibilities accurately and on time.

Rather than waiting until a deadline approaches, you'll help build systems and routines that make accurate reporting part of how we operate every day.

You’ll Be a Problem Solver

When something doesn't look right, you'll want to understand why.

A student may appear in the wrong course. A dashboard may not match the source system. A staff member may lose access to a platform. An integration may stop transferring information correctly. A school leader may need information that doesn't yet exist in an established report.

You'll investigate the issue, identify the root cause, determine what can be resolved directly, and know when to engage a vendor or technical partner for additional support.

We are looking for someone who approaches problems with curiosity, persistence, attention to detail, and a commitment to finding practical solutions.

You’ll Help Build a Culture of Data Use

Strong data systems are important, but they only make a difference when people know how to use them.

You will help teachers, school leaders, and organizational staff become more confident using KIPP Tulsa's systems, reports, and dashboards. You'll provide training, develop resources and documentation, answer questions, and help stakeholders identify the right information to support their work.

You'll listen to what users need, gather feedback, and continuously improve the tools and processes available to them.

Over time, your work will help strengthen a culture where data is not simply something we collect or report—it is something we use to learn, improve, and take action.

You’ll Connect Systems Across KIPP Tulsa

Student information does not live in just one place. Enrollment, attendance, assessments, behavior, grades, and other information may move across multiple systems before reaching the reports and dashboards our teams use.

You will develop a strong understanding of how KIPP Tulsa's systems and data sources connect. You'll help monitor data quality across those connections, troubleshoot common issues, document processes, and collaborate with technical partners on more complex integrations and data infrastructure needs.

Your work will help create a more connected data environment where staff can spend less time reconciling information across systems and more time using it.

You’ll Build Relationships Across KIPP Tulsa

This is not a role that succeeds by working with spreadsheets and systems alone.

You will build relationships with teachers, school operations teams, principals, instructional leaders, organizational staff, external partners, and vendors. You'll learn how different teams use information, understand their challenges, and identify opportunities for data and technology to make their work easier and more effective.

You'll become a trusted partner — someone teammates can turn to when they have a question about a system, need help understanding a report, discover a data-quality issue, or need information to make an important decision.

You’ll Never Stop Growing

Data systems, technology, and the needs of our schools will continue to evolve—and so will this position.

You'll have opportunities to deepen your skills in student information systems, data visualization, reporting, data quality, system integrations, project management, and data analysis while working alongside colleagues and partners committed to continuous improvement.

You'll also gain a unique view of how academic, operational, and organizational systems come together to support students. For someone interested in growing within data, technology, analytics, school operations, or organizational leadership, this role provides the opportunity to build both technical expertise and a deep understanding of how schools operate.

You’ll Help Build Futures Without Limits

Much of the work behind strong data systems happens behind the scenes, but its impact reaches classrooms every day.

When attendance information helps a team identify a student who needs support, when assessment results help educators adjust instruction, when accurate enrollment data ensures students are placed in the right courses, or when a dashboard helps a school leader recognize an emerging trend, data becomes more than numbers—it becomes a tool for action.

As the Data Systems & Analytics Manager, you will help ensure KIPP Tulsa has the systems, information, and insights necessary to make better decisions for students.

Every system you strengthen, report you improve, data issue you resolve, and teammate you empower contributes to our larger mission: preparing students with the skills and confidence to pursue the paths they choose—college, career, and beyond—and helping build a future without limits.
