Job summary

AFL Telecommunications, LLC is seeking a Business Systems Analyst - Data Engineering & Operations to design and deliver data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and business performance across the Energy business.

The role combines business operations and IT, requires hands-on development in SQL and Power BI, and involves building scalable data models, ETL pipelines, and automation to enable better decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data-related field.
• 3–6+ years in data analytics or data engineering-adjacent roles.
• Experience building data models and BI solutions.
• Experience with ERP/CRM data flows.
• Manufacturing or operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data models for BI and reporting.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards with DAX.
• Resolve data fragmentation and source of truth.
• Develop data pipelines and transformations.
• Collaborate with Ops, Product, Eng, Finance, and IT.
• Automate workflows with Python or Power Automate.
• Apply AI tools to accelerate analysis.
• Translate outputs into actionable business insights.
