AFL Telecommunications, LLC is seeking a BI Co-Op for Spring 2027 in Duncan, SC. The role supports reporting and analytics through Power BI, data modeling, and dashboard creation while collaborating with business and tech teams to deliver insights.

The position offers hands-on experience across data collection, cleaning, validation, and visualization, plus opportunities to learn BI best practices and contribute to data-driven decision making within AFL's operations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, Math, Data Analytics, MIS, or related field.
• Sophomore standing with GPA 2.75+.
• Commitment to three semesters, alternating between AFL and school.
• Experience with databases, data analysis or reporting tools is a plus.
• Interest in BI, data visualization, reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Meet with users to understand reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Assist data collection, cleaning, transformation and validation for reliable reporting.
• Analyze data to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data into visuals and reports.
• Assist with data modeling and report design to support decisions.
• Help monitor data quality and troubleshoot reporting issues.
• Document reporting specs, requirements, processes and data sources.
• Support continuous improvement with data analysis and performance insights.
• Learn BI best practices in reporting, analytics and visualization.
