This role supports onboarding and maintaining datasets used by traders and researchers in a fast-paced environment. The Data Analyst, Exploration will collaborate with data strategists, data engineers, and front-office teams to ensure data quality,

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant data analysis experience.
• Foundational knowledge of financial instruments and market data symbology.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for exploratory data analysis.
• Ability to document and clearly explain complex data analysis findings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze new datasets to profile content, identify collection and storage requirements, and surface insights for data strategists and front-office stakeholders.
• Collect metrics and analyze datasets across data quality dimensions: completeness, validity, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
• Curate data catalog entries to ensure research data assets are accurately represented and discoverable.
• Engage with global front office research teams to support datasets throughout their lifecycle and coordinate with external data vendors.
• Monitor and resolve production data issues while coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing datasets and data management processes.
