Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Data Steward to ensure quality, consistency, and governance of enterprise data assets. You will bridge business and IT, defining data standards, validating data accuracy, and maintaining metadata to support governance initiatives.

Responsibilities include data quality assessments, cross-system reconciliation, and documenting data lineage and definitions. A Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years in data roles are expected, with strong Excel and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a business/tech field.
• 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, master data management, or related discipline.
• Experience with business data and reporting processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms (SAP, Dynamics, SyteLine, Oracle) in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of data governance principles and frameworks.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Basic SQL and relational databases knowledge.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management concepts.
• Experience documenting business processes and data definitions.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing data quality assessments to identify inaccuracies and gaps.
• Validate data across reports, dashboards, databases, and source systems.
• Monitor data quality metrics and recommend corrective actions.
• Reconcile data between ERP, CRM, data warehouse, and other enterprise systems.
• Assist in data audits and validation exercises.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and enforce data governance policies.
• Document data lineage, ownership, definitions, and usage guidelines.
• Keep metadata current as systems and reporting evolve.
• Help users understand available data assets and business definitions.
• Serve as a trusted resource for data-related questions and definitions.
