Job summary

Pacific Life in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Data Steward to join the Institutional Division Business Insights team. You will manage data for multiple stakeholders and ensure data accuracy and efficiency across governance, coordination, and Source of Truth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field is required.
• Expertise in data management, data governance, data architecture solutions and data development life cycle.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, databases, data lakes, data visualization tools, scripting languages (Python, R).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and drive data changes across departments and align data architecture across work streams.
• Support new product implementation into systems, provisioning requirements for Data/IT.
• Ensure data quality and governance through validation checks and data cleansing activities.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and provide insights to business users across the division.
• Document data processes and provide training for division and enterprise users.
