Job summary

Harbinger is seeking a detail-oriented Data Specialist to join our team in California. You will help improve our systems and data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and readiness for scale within a fast-growing EV startup during a critical early product development stage.

You will handle data input, verification, maintenance, requirements gathering, system analysis, and testing/implementation to ensure reliable data and actionable insights across ERP and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or related field.
• High attention to detail to minimize errors.
• Strong organizational data management skills.
• Experience with databases, spreadsheets, and ERP systems such as NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Data Input: Transferring data from paper-based documents or other digital formats into our ERP system.
• Data Verification: Reviewing and validating data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with source documents.
• Data Maintenance: Updating existing records, correcting errors, and ensuring data integrity.
• Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and document system requirements.
• System Analysis: Analyze existing data and reporting, identify issues, and propose improvements or new solutions.
• Testing and Implementation: Test and implement new or updated systems, ensuring they meet requirements and function correctly.

• Organizational Skills: Keeping data organized and easily accessible.
• Familiarity with Computer Systems: Proficiency in using databases, spreadsheets, and other data management tools. Preferred ERP system (NetSuite) and Google Sheets.
• Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with team members to resolve data discrepancies.
• Problem‑Solving Skills: Identifying and resolving data inconsistencies.

Pay Rate

$33 - $36/hr
