Job summary

Global Payments seeks a Data Solution Consultant to join its data engineering-focused team in the United States. You will translate insights into actionable items across internal and external stakeholders to improve authorization, authentication and routing approval rates.

You will conduct high-level data analysis and visualization to support performance monitoring and generate insights across issuers and schemes, driving data-driven decisions and measurable uplifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent.
• 5+ years relevant experience in payments or data analytics.
• Broad knowledge of Worldpay/Global Payments products and services.
• Basic data analysis and visualization skills: Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, SQL.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity, problem-solving, time management and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Deep understanding of payments industry and authorization pathways.
• Experience with authorization investigation and resolution; analytics-driven investigations.

Responsibilities

• Translate insights through data storytelling and drive actionable items across stakeholders to improve authorization, authentication, and routing.
• Review data requirements, perform analysis and visualization to monitor performance and generate insights.
• Identify trends across issuers, schemes, platforms, and merchant configurations to inform outreach strategies.
• Drive improvements in authorization and routing efficiency with data-led recommendations.
• Convert findings into scalable solutions delivering uplifts in approval rates and revenue protection.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Technology, Data, Schemes and Issuers to implement solutions.
• Triages and elevates recurring or complex issues to bridge data insights with commercial outcomes.
• Gather requirements, prioritize opportunities, and manage a pipeline of initiatives.
• Document progress, recommendations, and outcomes for stakeholders.
