Job summary
Prismhr Hire’s Data Services Operations team is seeking a Data Services Analyst to quality control HD map data, process automation feedback, and craft GIS best practices. The role emphasizes data accuracy and spatial analysis within a 2D/3D virtual workspace.
You will work with ArcGIS or QGIS, collaborate across teams, and contribute to data-driven decisions in AI/self-driving projects.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 2 years of employment experience required.
- Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in quality control and data management is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute quality control functions in HD map data pipeline to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Produce HD map data through digitization, curation, and vehicle-log processing.
- Provide automation feedback to improve efficiency of Map Operations.
- Maintain and ensure the quality of GIS data and related processes.
- Communicate production status, blockers, and quality findings to team leads and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analyze spatial data through the use of a wide variety of mapping software, internal and external.
