Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Data Security Analyst to join the incident response team. You will enforce the Information Security Program, protect data from unauthorized access, and report security violations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and a focus on data security with at least two years of IT experience, preferably in banking or financial services. In this position you will develop and enforce security policies, participate in audits, and support regulatory examinations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in an IT role focusing on Data Security.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.
• Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP are preferred.
• Understanding of security practices and current technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing comprehensive security coverage for the Bank.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to protect information assets.
• Identify and assess technology risks through risk assessments.
• Support Internal Audit requests, reviews and remediation.
• Assist with IT examinations and regulatory inquiries.
• Improve information security through process improvements and security trainings.
• Enforce technology compliance policies for enterprise systems.
• Investigate data loss or exposure incidents and perform access reviews.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
