Amazon's Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) team is seeking a Data Scientist to analyze large-scale data, improve ML models, and communicate insights to business partners in a fast-paced environment. Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of data scientist experience
• 3+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL) or scripting languages (e.g. Python)
• 3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques
• 1+ years of guiding and coaching a group of researchers
• 1+ years of working with or evaluating AI systems
• 1+ years of creating or contributing to mathematical textbooks, research papers, or educational content
• Master's degree in STEM or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Analysis of large amounts of data from different parts of the supply chain and their associated business functions
• Improving upon existing machine learning methodologies by developing new data sources, testing model enhancements, and fine-tuning model parameters
• Formalizing assumptions about model behavior and identifying outliers, with explanations and fixes
• Communicating insights to business customers with varying technical knowledge
• Using Python, R, Scala, and other tools to build statistical and ML models and algorithms
