Amazon Science seeks a Data Scientist to join SCOT, building algorithms to optimize Amazon's supply chain under uncertainty. You will analyze large datasets, develop model enhancements, and communicate results to stakeholders across teams.

You will work with Python/R/Scala, contribute to research, collaborate with ML scientists, and publish papers internally and externally as part of a data-driven culture.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of data querying languages experience (SQL, scripting languages).
• 3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling experience.
• 1+ years of guiding and coaching researchers.
• 1+ years of working with or evaluating AI systems.
• 1+ years of creating or contributing to mathematical textbooks, research papers, or educational content.
• Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment.

• Analyze large data from various parts of the supply chain.
• Improve ML methods by developing data sources and model enhancements.
• Formalize model behavior and identify outliers and fixes.
• Communicate insights to business customers with varying technical backgrounds.
