Chopine Analytic Solutions in Springfield, VA is seeking a Mid-level Data Scientist with TS/SCI clearance to join our team immediately. You will apply Python and the data science stack to automate data collection, connect databases, and produce actionable metrics.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in data science, automation, software development, data engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Proficiency in Python and its data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Plotly, Dash, Bokeh).
• Experience automating data collection, transformation, and dissemination across databases and enterprise systems.
• Experience gathering and disseminating metrics and operational data.

Job Name: Data Scientist Level: Mid Location: Springfield, VA (NCE) Remote Work: No Required Clearance: TS/SCI Position Type: Immediately Available Shift: Shift 1 Office Supported: SPF

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI/Poly.
• 9+ years of relevant experience in data science, automation, software development, data engineering, database integration, GEOINT support, or related technical disciplines.
  • OR 5 years experience and a Bachelor's Degree
  • OR 3 years experience and a Master's Degree
• Proficiency in Python and its data science and visualization ecosystem, including Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Plotly, Dash, Bokeh, and related libraries.
• Demonstrated experience connecting multiple databases and enterprise systems to automate data collection, transformation, and dissemination.
• Experience automating repetitive business or analytic tasks using scripts and workflows.
• Experience gathering and disseminating metrics and operational data.
• Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement automation solutions that improve workflow performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

COMPENSATION

Base salaries at CAS are determined by various factors, including work location, an individual’s education, knowledge, skills, experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected salary range for this position is $100,000 to $135,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of CAS's total compensation package.
