Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist at the Mid level to apply data science and analytics to NGA mission problems in a collaborative, Agile environment.

You will work with Python-based tooling to turn large geospatial datasets into actionable insights, build models, and deliver dashboards while growing alongside senior data scientists and mission stakeholders. Security clearance TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of data science or analytics experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience applying statistical analysis, classification, regression, or clustering techniques.
• Experience with data visualization tools (matplotlib, Tableau, or similar).
• Security Clearance (TS/SCI) with willingness to undergo polygraph examination.

• Develop analytic models and data processing workflows against structured and unstructured datasets.
• Clean, filter, transform, and enrich data to support exploratory and production analytics.
• Build visualizations and dashboards for exploratory and comparative analysis.
• Support integration of analytic capabilities into program systems alongside development teams.
• Collaborate with analysts and Product Owners to refine analytic requirements into working solutions.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and model behavior.

Benefits & Compensation

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $69,100-$141,500, subject to factors such as geographic location, contract categories, relevant experience, and skill set.
