Maximus seeks a Data Scientist II to identify high-value analytics solutions for the USSOCOM POTFF program and to apply advanced methods across the SOF enterprise to improve the well-being of service members and their families.

The role requires an active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship. You will work with product managers, software engineers, and researchers to build experiments, deploy models, and communicate results to leadership, using Python, NLP, ML, and statistics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in quantitative science or related field.
• 3+ years of research experience in relevant settings.
• Proficiency with statistical software and programming tools (SPSS, SAS, Python, R).
• English fluency with strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on data analysis and modeling with large datasets.
• Apply NLP and ML to improve relevance and personalization.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design experiments.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations.
• Present findings to leaders and stakeholders with clear narratives.
