Expedia Group is seeking an innovative Data Scientist to transform how we understand and optimize organic search performance across SEO and AEO. You’ll build and maintain an AI-powered automation layer for performance intelligence across Expedia’s brands, enabling faster, deeper analysis.

You’ll partner with marketing analysts to translate questions into reusable workflows, design agent-assisted processes, and deliver automated commentary and visual insights that guide key business decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a highly analytical role in marketing analytics or data science.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous problems into structured analytical solutions.
• Experience with marketing analytics platforms and datasets; SEO knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain an automation and AI layer for recurring performance workflows.
• Develop agent-assisted workflows that accelerate root-cause diagnosis.
• Collaborate with analysts to translate business questions into automated frameworks.
• Create outputs (automated commentary, visuals, insights) with rigor and context.
• Support deep dives with rapid data exploration and segmentation analysis.
• Refine prompts and outputs based on feedback and KPI changes.
