Job summary

CareSource is seeking a Data Scientist I to support the design, validation, and deployment of predictive models and AI across operational, clinical, financial, and marketing domains. You will analyze large datasets, develop algorithms for risk prediction, and create visualizations to communicate insights.

The role requires a solid foundation in data science with experience in SQL, Python or R, and exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and modern data tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in data science or related field
• Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS or GCP) and modern data stack preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the design, validation, and deployment of predictive models, machine learning models, and AI
• Mine and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets
• Develop algorithms to predict risk and understand drivers, detect outliers
• Create visualizations to demonstrate model efficacy
• Collaborate with teams to integrate solutions and communicate results to stakeholders
• Prepare code for end-to-end model deployment for business use
• Stay current with emerging technologies in data science
