Job summary

CareSource is seeking a Data Scientist I to support predictive modeling and ML initiatives across the organization. You will design and validate models, analyze large datasets, and develop deployment-ready pipelines to inform business decisions.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential. The role requires a bachelor's in a related field, familiarity with SQL and Python, and exposure to BI tools like Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R).

Responsibilities

• Support design, validation, and communication of predictive models and ML/AI solutions.
• Mine and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets.
• Develop algorithms to predict risk, detect outliers, and understand drivers.
• Create visualizations to demonstrate model efficacy for stakeholders.
• Contribute to statistical validation of clinical program outcomes under guidance.
• Prepare code for end-to-end model deployment and operationalization.
