Job summary

Amazon Science is seeking a Data Scientist for the Fleet Planning team in Bellevue, WA. You will build models to optimize vehicle allocation and collaborate with program teams to test and measure model success.

You will lead reviews with senior leadership, interpret model outputs, and explain implications of recommendations. A STEM master's or PhD is preferred, with hands-on ML, SQL, and Python experience, including mentorship of researchers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data scientist experience
• 3+ years SQL, Python or statistical software experience
• 3+ years ML/modeling data analysis tools and techniques
• 1+ years mentoring researchers
• 1+ years working with or evaluating AI systems
• 1+ years creating educational content
• Master's degree in STEM

Responsibilities

• Build models and automation for planners for generating vehicle allocation plans
• Partner with program teams to test and measure success of implemented model
