Job summary

Ophelia is a venture-backed healthcare startup using a discreet telehealth platform to provide FDA-approved medication and clinical care for opioid use disorder. We are seeking a data scientist to shape modeling, experimentation, and ML across the business and help turn questions into scalable solutions.

You will build forecasting and risk models, design experiments for true impact, and collaborate with Analytics Engineering to deploy robust pipelines with ongoing monitoring and evaluation.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of applied data science with strong stats and ML foundations.
• Advanced Python proficiency with pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, and gradient boosting.
• Comfort using AI-augmented tools and a passion for evidence-based addiction treatment.

Responsibilities

• Build forecasting models for business operations and marketing, plus outcome and risk models.
• Design and analyze experiments and quasi-experiments for true impact measurement.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to deploy models into robust pipelines with continuous monitoring.
