Job summary

Solace, a US-based startup, seeks a Data Scientist who excels in forecasting, prediction, and machine learning to anticipate patient needs and optimize operations.

Reporting to the VP of Data, you will lead high-impact projects, build predictive engines from notebooks to production, and translate complex statistics for non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications include strong statistics, Python/ML proficiency, time-series forecasting, and advanced SQL; healthcare data experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in statistics, probability, and mathematics.
• Proficient in Python and ML libraries with clean, reproducible code.
• Hands-on experience with time-series forecasting and causal inference is a plus.
• Familiarity with PHI/PII privacy practices in analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build predictive models to solve business problems such as churn or capacity forecasting.
• Own development of time-series forecasts to guide planning and resources.
• Lead design and analysis of A/B tests and causal studies.
• Translate complex stats into clear insights for stakeholders.
• Productionize models with data engineers and ensure reliability.
