Job summary

European Wax Center is seeking a Data Scientist to join our analytics team. The role blends hands-on coding (SQL, Python) with data analysis across Finance, Operations, Marketing and Development, delivering descriptive, predictive and prescriptive insights.

You'll build datasets in Snowflake, develop BI dashboards (Power BI, Looker, Tableau), partner with stakeholders, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Hybrid work schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SQL and Python coding to build datasets and models.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake) and BI tools.
• Bachelor's degree in a data-focused field with 3+ years of relevant work.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches.

Responsibilities

• Write SQL and Python to build, test, and maintain analytics datasets and pipelines in Snowflake.
• Build descriptive analytics: dashboards, KPI frameworks, and ad hoc queries.
• Build predictive models: forecasting, segmentation, and time series modeling.
• Build prescriptive analysis: scenario modeling and recommendations.
• Partner with Finance, Ops, Marketing, and Development stakeholders to scope analytical questions and translate business problems into data solutions.
• Design and maintain BI dashboards (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to surface trends and root causes in business performance.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
