Job summary

White Cap is looking for a data analytics professional to create and develop solutions for business problems using data mining and analytics. You will leverage innovative techniques to uncover patterns and trends and socialize insights with marketing, sales, and supply chain.

This role partners with stakeholders to develop data logistics, build dashboards, and deploy analytical solutions. Strong Excel/SQL and visualization tool skills are required along with the ability to communicate insights

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field; 5–8 years experience or MS/MA in related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools (R, Python, SAS) is a plus.
• Strong storytelling and presentation skills; able to communicate insights to executive audiences.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Experience working cross-functionally with strategy, finance, and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to manage data logistics and rules for project execution.
• Use data modeling/analysis to mine systems for knowledge to improve business processes.
• Build, deploy, and maintain data tools and metadata inventories.
• Deploy analytical solutions and ensure QA of data and outputs.
• Present findings to stakeholders and communicate key insights and recommendations.
• Create compelling presentations with actionable insights.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize timelines and scope.
