Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to build next-generation agentic systems for cybersecurity. You will work where ML, big data, and security converge, training models, building AI agents, and evaluating them on proprietary data.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity SMEs to understand workflows, post-train LLMs with RL techniques, and prototype planning and memory-driven architectures. This role requires deep ML expertise and strong independent execution.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in ML, probability and statistics with uncertainty handling.

Responsibilities

• Work at the intersection of AI and Threat Research.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity experts on analyst workflows.
• Post-train LLMs and agents with RLHF/RLAIF and PPO variants.
• Design AI agents and complex workflows with planning and memory.
• Prototype state-of-the-art agentic methods from literature.
• Establish objective benchmarks for agentic systems with rigorous evals.
• Optimize prompts and inference for model efficiency.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Data Science and Managed Services teams.
• Track AI field developments to identify research priorities.
