Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to build agentic AI systems for cybersecurity, training models, and evaluating performance on unique datasets.

You will work at the intersection of AI, threat research, and large-scale data processing to automate analyst procedures and improve reliability on real-security tasks. The role requires deep ML knowledge, extensive experience with generative models and RL, and the ability to collaborate across cybersecurity teams to advance production-ready

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in machine learning, statistics, and experimental design.
• Ability to read, critique, implement, and improve current research papers.
• Experience training generative models and LLM training fundamentals.
• Experience with reinforcement learning and post-training methods.
• Experience building agentic systems and tool calling.
• Proficiency with GPUs and the common ML stack.

Responsibilities

• Work at the intersection of AI and threat research.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to understand analyst workflows.
• Post-train LLMs and agents with supervised fine-tuning and RLHF/RLAIF.
• Develop AI agents and complex workflows with planning and memory.
• Prototype state-of-the-art methods from literature and benchmark rigor.
• Optimize prompts and inference for model performance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Data Science, and Managed Services teams.
