About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines that manage data from blockchain networks, APIs, and internal systems. You will implement robust data validation and monitoring processes to ensure accuracy and reliability. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, support research, and enable data-driven decision-making. You will monitor public blockchain sources to provide real-time data analysis essential for our products and services.

Responsibilities

1. Design and optimize scalable ETL pipelines for diverse data sources including blockchain and third-party APIs
2. Implement data validation and monitoring to maintain high data quality and consistency
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions
4. Integrate data science practices to support research and analytics across the organization
5. Track and analyze public blockchain data in real-time to inform product development
6. Clearly communicate complex technical information to non-technical team members

Qualifications

1. Minimum 5+ years experience in data science, preferably in decentralized finance, blockchain, quantitative finance, or related technology sectors
2. Extensive expertise in data modeling and ETL processes
3. Proven ability to handle complex datasets, detect patterns, and extract actionable insights
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for blockchain technology and DeFi
5. Experience working on blockchain projects is highly desirable
6. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
7. Self-motivated and capable of thriving in an autonomous, remote work setting
