We are currently seeking a Data Scientist Specialist for our client in the Consulting domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Location: Remote (10% Travel to Sunnyvale, CA)

Salary: $75.00-$80.00/Hourly

Role Description: The Data Scientist Specialist must have 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities and Skills include:

• Data science background with experience in statistical modeling, econometric modeling, stress testing/CCAR models, PPNR models.
• Proficiency in R programming for creating graphical representations, simulations, and data analysis.
• Designing statistical models, formulating procedures, and providing technical assistance for clients.
• Linux experience, including technology and programming skills.
• Experience in data preservation and decommissioning.
• Understanding of Windows vs Linux operating systems, structured vs unstructured data storage.
• Recognizing challenges of on-premises vs cloud-hosted applications, data archiving, and migration.
• Knowledge of database concepts: tables, records, SQL usage.
• Effective communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and team collaboration.

Brief:

• Build AI/ML models for product search and recommendations across international markets.
• Enhance user experience in online shopping journeys.
• Contribute to AI, ML, NLP, optimization, and algorithm development for customer-facing systems.

Education: Any/Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience

Relocation: No relocation expenses covered

Travel: 10% travel to CA
