Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is hiring a Data Science Manager to lead a focused team improving how players pay, subscribe, and recover from payment failures. You will own the team’s scientific roadmap, mentor data scientists, and partner with product, engineering, finance, marketing, and operations to turn ambiguous business questions into clear, evidence-based recommendations.

• 6+ years of industry experience in data science, statistics, or ML.
• 2+ years of people management or formal technical leadership.
• Fluent SQL and Python; ability to review analyses and guide model design.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, onboard, and develop data scientists for a commerce/payments lifecycle portfolio.
• Own the team roadmap, intake, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
• Define decisions, hypotheses, success metrics, and action recommendations with business impact.
• Guide experimentation, causal inference, forecasting, and modeling to improve payment and subscription outcomes.
• Coach team members to strengthen scientific judgment and communication.
