RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a fully remote Data Science Manager to join their team.

Summary:
In this tactical and execution-focused role, you will work on optimizing and improving long-standing models and processes that drive pricing strategies. This person will be leading a team of three data scientists while also remaining hands on. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with complex datasets, optimizing predictive and regression models, and navigating large-scale data architectures. The role offers the chance to make a significant impact on competitive and margin-focused pricing initiatives while ensuring stakeholder needs are met. Overall, they need a manager/lead type data scientist who is very strong in SQL and Python who can navigate complex data sets and optimize and interpret predictive and forecasting models in a fast-paced ad hoc environment.

REQUIREMENTS:
Technical Skills:

1. Proficient in Python (including Pandas for data wrangling) and SQL
2. Experience with regression, predictive, and forecasting models
3. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery

Data Expertise:

1. Strong understanding of large-scale data architecture
2. Ability to navigate and interpret complex datasets effectively

Execution Focus:

1. Proven ability to optimize long-standing data processes
2. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering on SLAs

Soft Skills:

1. Excellent communication skills to explain data insights to stakeholders
2. Adaptability to handle a mix of structured processes and ad hoc requests

Compensation:
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
