Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Enrolled in UIUC in a quantitative field (Data Science/CS/Statistics).
• Experience using Python for data analysis, experimentation, or prototyping (Polars/NumPy).
• Write clear, modular, and testable code for data tasks.
• Knowledge of statistics, experimental design, EDA, data viz, and result interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to data science, analytics, research, and engineering projects across Brunswick divisions.
• Translate questions into measurable objectives, hypotheses, experiments, and implementation plans.
• Collect, clean, join, validate, and explore data from products, cloud platforms, and operations.
• Analyze time-series, telemetry, sensor data to identify patterns and opportunities.
• Develop reusable scripts and data-processing workflows moving ideas toward working solutions.
• Design experiments to compare approaches and quantify trade-offs on data quality and performance.
