Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Data & Analytics Office Intern in Chicago, IL for a ten-week program. You will work with product designers and UX researchers to improve user experiences across digital platforms and gain exposure to enterprise data products.

The program offers professional development workshops, mentorship, networking, and cross-functional project presentation, with opportunities to contribute to data policy, metadata management, and data quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with expected graduation between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Curious about financial markets and the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through projects or extracurricular involvement.

Responsibilities

• Work with your team on day-to-day tasks and project work.
• Participate in internship program events to develop new skills and network with leaders.
• Assist in policy development, metadata management, and data quality initiatives.
• Contribute to data science projects and business insights.
• Support change initiatives and stakeholder engagement within programs.
• Engage in organizational design and operating model transformation efforts.
