Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Data Scientist Intern – Summer 2027 to join our Phoenix, AZ office. You will support data analytics, reporting, and visualization initiatives for internal and client-facing projects.

You will help collect, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources, build interactive dashboards with Power BI, Smartsheet, and SharePoint, and assist in deploying digital solutions for project controls and reporting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field with focus on analytics.
• Prior internship or involvement in data analytics or BI preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support development and enhancement of data analytics, reporting and visualization solutions.
• Assist with data collection, validation, transformation and integration from multiple sources.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, SharePoint.
• Support configuration, testing and deployment of digital solutions for project management and reporting.
• Analyze business processes to identify reporting automation opportunities and workflow improvements.
• Assist with AI-driven initiatives including data preparation, testing and evaluation of technologies.
• Perform quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with managers, developers, data scientists and project teams on client solutions.
