Job summary

Boston Scientific Cardiac Diagnostics is offering an AI‑assisted Software Development Internship at the Arden Hills, MN location. You will work with software engineers, AI/ML engineers, and product teams to direct AI agents, validate code, and implement features in a real‑world healthcare setting.

This internship requires hands‑on coding experience with AI agents, understanding software fundamentals, and the ability to explain your prompts, constraints, and evaluation approach.

Qualifications

Pursuing BS/MS in CS/SE/CE with graduation between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
Available for specified internship periods: May 17–Aug 6 or May 24–Aug 13.

Responsibilities

Use AI coding agents to support day‑to‑day software development.
Define objective, constraints, acceptance criteria for agents and deliverables.
Review AI‑generated code for correctness, security and quality.
Develop automated tests to demonstrate behavior and prevent regression.
Document prompts, patterns, and workflows for reuse by engineers.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile activities.
