Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Data Science Consultant to perform data analysis and develop analytical solutions for utility clients using Python, SQL, Databricks, Power BI, GIS, and other modern analytics platforms. You will partner with utility clients and Guidehouse subject matter experts to define business objectives, analytical approaches, technical requirements, and actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 1+ year of analytics experience.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Experience working with large datasets and delivering analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and develop analytical solutions using Python, SQL, Databricks, Power BI, GIS and other analytics platforms.
• Partner with utility clients and Guidehouse SMEs to define objectives, approaches, and requirements.
• Design, test, and implement data, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions aligned to client goals.
• Translate business needs into scalable data workflows, dashboards, and decision-support tools.
• Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences to inform data-driven decisions.
