Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Sr. Data Analytics Consultant to support Homeland Security and Federal Law Enforcement clients, delivering data-driven recommendations and solutions using analytics, BI, automation, and low-code technologies.

You will lead requirements sessions, analyze data, and develop dashboards and KPIs to improve mission operations and organizational effectiveness. The role requires active TS clearance and is 100% onsite.

Qualifications

• ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in consulting, business analysis, BI, analytics, process improvement, or technology transformation.
• Intermediate proficiency in Python and/or PowerBI dashboard development.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business processes, workflows, and challenges to identify opportunities for improvement and modernization.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery meetings to define solution strategies.
• Analyze business problems and data to identify trends, risks, and efficiency gaps.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations using Power BI and other analytics tools.
• Design and implement Power Apps solutions for data collection, case management, workflow tracking, and reporting.
• Develop Power Automate workflows to automate processes, improve data quality, and reduce manual effort.

What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Sr. Data Analytics Consultant to support Homeland Security and Federal Law Enforcement clients in improving mission operations, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and advancing digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, partnering with client stakeholders to analyze business challenges, evaluate operational processes, develop data-driven recommendations, and implement solutions leveraging analytics, business intelligence, automation, and low-code technologies. This role combines consulting, process improvement, and technical solution delivery to help clients achieve mission-critical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate business processes, operational workflows, and organizational challenges to identify opportunities for improvement and modernization.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery meetings to understand client needs and define solution strategies.

• Conduct process analysis and recommend improvements that enhance effectiveness, accountability, and decision-making.
• Create process maps, workflow diagrams, user stories, functional requirements, and technical documentation.
• Present findings, recommendations, and solutions to client leadership and program stakeholders.
• Collaborate with client teams, technical resources, and project managers to ensure successful solution delivery and adoption.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through analytics, reporting, and business process automation.
• Deliver client services while supporting business development activities, proposal efforts, internal initiatives, and professional development.
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables while balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic consulting environment

What You Will Need:

• An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• FIVE (5) or more years of professional experience in consulting, business analysis, business intelligence, analytics, process improvement, or technology transformation.
• Intermediate proficiency in Python and/or PowerBI dashboard development
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Experience documenting requirements, creating functional specifications, technical user guides, and preparing wireframes/flowcharts
• Experience with HR data analytics and reporting.
• Knowledge and experience working with Power Apps and Power Automate
