Job summary

Sensiple Inc. in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the strategy design and implementation of an enterprise data platform on Snowflake.

You will bridge business needs with cloud data architecture to modernize legacy warehouses and build scalable data pipelines. Responsibilities include creating scalable data warehouses/lakes, designing Snowflake architectures, and driving governance, security, and collaboration with BI and data science teams to deliver robust analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in data engineering, enterprise architecture or large-scale data modeling.
• 4 years of hands-on experience designing and optimizing Snowflake cloud data environments.
• ETL/ELT proficiency with batch and real-time ingestion, API-driven integrations, and orchestration tools.
• Hands-on experience integrating Snowflake with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Expert-level SQL tuning, data warehousing principles and schema optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build and optimize scalable enterprise cloud data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouse platforms.
• Design robust Snowflake architectures using features like Snowpipe, Dynamic Tables, Streams, Tasks, Data Sharing and Snowpark.
• Lead end-to-end data integration strategies.
• Architect scalable data pipelines using dbt, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Informatica or Talend.
• Establish conceptual, logical and physical data models for high-throughput analytical workloads.
• Optimize query performance, warehouse sizing and storage costs within Snowflake.
• Implement enterprise data governance, metadata management, and security patterns including RBAC, row-level security and data masking.
• Partner with BI engineers, data scientists and stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable pipelines.

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline design and the Snowflake AI Data Cloud platform. In this role, you will lead the strategy design and implementation of our enterprise data platform. You will bridge business requirements with cloud data architecture modernizing legacy data warehouses and constructing scalable, high-performance data integration pipelines.

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in data engineering, enterprise architecture or large-scale data modeling.

• ETL/ELT Proficiency Deep experience in batch and real-time streaming ingestion API-driven integrations, and orchestration tools.
• Hands-on experience integrating Snowflake with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform cloud infrastructures.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git and Infrastructure as Code.

• Certifications: Snowflake SnowPro Advanced Architect or SnowPro Core certified.
• Migration Experience: Proven track record of modernizing on-premise legacy platforms to cloud platforms.
