Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead a critical reporting transformation initiative. This role will involve migrating reporting capabilities from Salesforce to ServiceNow, leveraging Snowflake as the future-state data environment. The Data Architect will be responsible for assessing current data structures, defining the target architecture, developing proofs of concept, and establishing a scalable technical framework to minimize disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for the reporting transformation from Salesforce to ServiceNow, with Snowflake as the data foundation.
• Assess current data and reporting dependencies, and define the target data architecture and reporting approach.
• Develop Proofs of Concept (POCs) using representative high-value reports to validate the proposed solution.
• Establish a repeatable technical framework for data migration and reporting that can be scaled across the organization.
• Ensure minimal disruption to critical business processes, particularly downstream reporting and billing.
• Collaborate effectively with business analysts, reporting analysts, client SMEs, and technical SMEs.
• Communicate architecture decisions, trade-offs, and progress to both technical and business stakeholders.

Skills

• Strong Snowflake architecture and hands-on data engineering (data modeling, ELT, security, performance).
• Deep understanding of Salesforce data models and extraction/integration patterns.
• Expertise in ServiceNow data and integration concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT, APIs/CDC, data mapping, reconciliation, and migration patterns.
• Experience designing POCs, reference architectures, and repeatable migration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of reporting-oriented data architecture, data quality, lineage, and business continuity.
• Excellent client advisory and communication skills.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and evolving requirements.
