Job summary

Treatment Alternatives for Stronger Communities (TASC) is seeking a full-time Data Coordinator in Chicago to support its Community Reentry Division. The role ensures the accuracy of performance data and timely monthly and quarterly reports, while helping maintain program documents and identify opportunities for service improvements.

Starting salary is $43,000–$45,000, contingent on experience. The Data Coordinator collaborates with staff to improve data collection, analyze trends, and prepare

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of administrative experience.
• At least two years of experience with data entry and reporting.
• Advanced knowledge of computers, including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review Community Reentry files (10 pre-release and 20 post-release monthly), creating reports and corrective action requirements for each file.
• Create and present a summary report at monthly Audit Subcommittee meetings.
• Work with program staff on corrective actions.
• Track key performance indicators for CR programs.
• Work with supervisor and other agency staff to design performance tracking and reporting tools.
• Perform accurate data entry using word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and/or CRM(s).
• Review discrepancies in data entered, request clarification, or advise supervisor of issues related to challenges in accordance with agency procedures.
• Organize and analyze data; identify ways to improve data collection.
• Assist in compiling data for quarterly reports to IDOC.
• Maintain, update, and archive master and support documents for CR as needed.
• Identify data trends that can inform ongoing program improvements and client services.
