Job summary

McNeil & Co. seeks a Data Quality Lead to oversee QA for the Reinsurance Datawarehouse Application, working with Arch Capital’s product and business teams to validate data transformations and prepare audit-ready evidence for sign-off.

This hybrid role is based in Farmington, CT or Morristown, NJ with in-office collaboration 3 days a week; you will design master test plans, lead QA analysts, implement automated data tests in Azure, and ensure data accuracy, governance, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of Data Warehouse, Reporting, Data Quality, or Data Testing experience.
• Strong experience with Azure cloud technologies (ADF, DevOps, SQL, and related data platforms).
• Hands-on SQL skills for validating, reconciling, and analyzing data used for reporting.
• Experience testing and validating reporting data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and quality.
• Experience developing, executing, and maintaining QA automation for data and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA efforts of the Reinsurance Datawarehouse Application releases.
• Build and execute QA test plans for data warehouse solutions.
• Design the Master Test Plan (MTP) for data projects, balancing manual checks and automated regression.
• Lead QA Analysts, review SQL scripts and test cases.
• Work with DevOps to integrate automated data tests into the deployment pipeline.
• Implement automated checks for data completeness and referential integrity in Snowflake.
• Verify RBAC and data masking to ensure GDPR/industry compliance.
• Reconcile Power BI reports with Snowflake data and source systems.
• Establish and communicate QA standards, procedures, and policies.
• Collaborate with product managers to address gaps and drive improvements.
• Produce quality control evidence for business and audit sign-off.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing with Finance, Actuaries and Underwriters.
