Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking a Data Quality Lead to own the end-to-end lifecycle of data quality issues, ensuring timely triage, root-cause analysis, assignment, and resolution while meeting SLAs.

The role includes directing offshore analysts and collaborating with UK data owners and SME teams to translate technical findings into business terms. You will partner with IT and Operations to validate fixes, embed preventative processes, and drive governance via dashboards and audit-ready

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a highly analytical discipline.
Nice to Have: Professional certifications in business analysis (e.g. ISEB) and data management (e.g. DAMA).

Responsibilities

End to End Ownership of the Data Quality Issue Lifecycle: triage, root‑cause, assignment, resolution, closure; maintain SLA adherence.
Lead and guide offshore Data Quality Analysts with daily direction, prioritisation and quality oversight.
Primary contact for UK‑based data owners, SMEs, and operations; run workshops to explain issues and remediation plans.
Partner with IT and Operations to validate defects and ensure production fixes; embed new processes to prevent recurrence.
Drive data quality improvements: define patterns, rules, and dashboards; update data standards and ownership models.
Produce weekly/monthly DQ reporting and support Data Governance forums with insights on risks and trends.
