Job summary

Welo Data in San Francisco is seeking a Data Quality Analyst who speaks Spanish to join our on-site team. You will audit outputs, guide DLAs, and help maintain high-quality data for human-in-the-loop AI workflows.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and project leads to apply complex guidelines consistently, support onboarding, and ensure accuracy across fast-moving tasks in a dynamic, real-world setting. This is a 40-hour-per-week, full-time onsite role.

Qualifications

• Native-level Spanish proficiency and a university degree.
• English at B2 level or higher.
• 2–4 years in data annotation, content quality, QA, or related fields.
• Experience with AI/ML data workflows or human-in-the-loop evaluation.
• Prior auditing of others' work and applying guidelines consistently.

Responsibilities

• Support quality and execution across DLA teams, ensuring standards at scale.
• Audit DLA outputs and provide actionable feedback to improve accuracy.
• Act as first line of support for DLAs, answering questions and interpreting guidelines.
• Help DLAs navigate ambiguity and apply evolving instructions.
• Support onboarding and training of new DLAs through hands-on guidance.
• Monitor workflows, queues, and blockers; escalate risks to Team Leads.
• Identify patterns and edge cases in human and model outputs.
• Participate in calibrations, team discussions, and stakeholder syncs.
• Document findings clearly and concisely for actionability.
