Job summary

Arctiq is seeking a Systems Engineer I to support the implementation and delivery of managed services focused on data protection, backup, and disaster recovery. You will work with Commvault, Metallic, Zerto, and other technologies, participating in customer meetings and hands-on configuration.

The role involves hardware installations, cross-functional coordination with Network and Project teams, and documenting configurations and project outcomes to ensure reliable service for our clients.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in systems or backup administration, preferably in a Managed Services or Service Provider environment.
• Foundational knowledge of data protection platforms (e.g., Commvault, Cohesity, Metallic, Zerto).
• Familiarity with Windows Server, VMware, network fundamentals, and storage systems.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup, configuration, and maintenance of data protection platforms (Commvault, Metallic, Zerto, etc.).
• Support project-based implementations, following technical design docs and collaborating with internal teams.
• Attend customer meetings to gather requirements and provide updates on technical delivery.
• Perform hardware installations including racking, cabling, and setup of media agent servers and storage components.
• Collaborate with Network, Systems, and Project teams to ensure seamless service delivery for managed customers.
• Document configurations, installation steps, and project deliverables in Confluence or designated repositories.
