Job summary

Contact Government Services, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer (Commvault) to design, implement, and secure enterprise backup and recovery solutions across WAN environments. The role focuses on ensuring data integrity and availability for federal data, with responsibilities spanning configuration, patching, and security compliance.

The candidate will work with Windows/Linux servers, SQL databases, and storage systems, applying DISA STIGs and optimizing performance.

Qualifications

Requires strong knowledge of Commvault data protection.
Familiarity with LAN/WAN, Windows Servers, Linux, and SQL databases.
Experience with DISA STIGs and applying to Commvault related systems.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and secure backup, recovery, and storage solutions across WAN.
Create and maintain optimal backup and redundancy strategies for critical data.
Troubleshoot complex backup/recovery issues across multiple layers (network, app, server, hardware).
Provide analytics, capacity planning, and reporting within management systems.
Apply security updates and patches to backup servers in line with federal requirements.
Collaborate with operations to support enterprise infrastructure processes for backup and data replication.
