Job summary

Arctiq seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead enterprise infrastructure engineering, administration, and optimization. You will ensure highly available, secure compute environments while modernizing, automating, and improving the technology stack.

You will collaborate with the Manager of Systems and cross-functional teams to align solutions with business needs and standards, handling complex environments with hands-on expertise.

Qualifications

10+ years as a Systems Engineer in enterprise environments.
Experience designing and managing virtualization stacks (VMware).
Expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, and PKI.
Knowledge of storage technologies and backup/recovery tools.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage core systems including compute, networks, and storage.
Administer cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS; manage Citrix VDI and SSL/tls.
Monitor and optimize performance; ensure security and reliability.
Maintain technical documentation, processes, and change records.
Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet enterprise standards.
